1. Executive Overview — Who is Kujou Sara in Genshin Impact?

Kujou Sara, revered and feared across the battlefields of Inazuma as the Crowfeather Kaburaya and the supreme battlefield General of the Tenryou Commission, is a four-star Electro bow wielder and an authentic Tengu Youkai adopted into the noble Kujou Clan. Identifiable by her golden avian eyes, the ceremonial red Tengu mask worn atop her head, and the pair of jet-black crow wings she unfurls in battle, Kujou Sara is the embodiment of martial discipline and unswerving devotion to the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun.

Although Kujou Sara served as the chief military enforcer of the Vision Hunt Decree out of absolute faith in the Almighty Shogun's pursuit of Eternity, her personal honor is unimpeachable: when she discovered that her own adoptive father, Kujou Takayuki, had betrayed Inazuma to the Fatui, Kujou Sara stormed Tenshukaku single-handedly to demand the truth. On this page, cosplayers, 3D animators, and lore researchers can inspect the official Kujou Sara 3D model while exploring her Tengu Youkai biology, her rivalry with Arataki Itto, and her Tengu Juurai Electro Crit DMG buffing mechanics.

02 · SPECIES, LINEAGE & ONTOLOGY · 种族与血脉考据

Kujou Sara’s Species, Heritage & Biological Nature

Within the supernatural hierarchy of Inazuma's Youkai species, Kujou Sara is a pure-blooded Tengu—specifically a crow-winged mountain Youkai native to the sacred forests of Mt. Yougou and Chinju Forest, descended from the lineage guarded by the ancient Tengu general Sasayuri. Unlike human archers, Kujou Sara possesses innate Tengu physiology, including four retractable jet-black feathered wings folded spiritually into her back, heightened aerial eyesight, and superhuman physical strength capable of drawing war bows that ordinary soldiers cannot even string.

Her Electro Vision is directly tied to her miraculous survival in childhood. While defending the mountain forests against monsters as a very young Tengu, Kujou Sara was struck down and plunged off a cliff; at the brink of death, an Electro Vision descended upon her, which led the Kujou Clan patriarch Kujou Takayuki to believe she was blessed by the Raiden Shogun's gaze and adopt her to bolster the clan's prestige.

03 · HISTORICAL BACKGROUND & ORIGINS · 身世背景与过往历史

The Origins and Historical Journey of Kujou Sara

Before entering human society, Kujou Sara lived among the Tengu spirits of Mt. Yougou until the day she fell from a precipice while fighting monsters and awakened with an Electro Vision in her hand. Found on the mountain path by forces of the Tenryou Commission, she was taken in by Kujou Takayuki and given the name Kujou Sara—a name composed of five characters in keeping with her obsession with the auspicious number five.

However, life inside the Kujou estate was cold and lonely. Takayuki never treated Kujou Sara with fatherly warmth, viewing her solely as a living weapon and political talisman of the Shogun's favor, while instructing her never to tarnish the Kujou name with personal friendships. Embracing this austere code, Kujou Sara trained in archery and polearm drills from five o'clock every morning in rhythmic sets of five, rising to become the supreme General of the Shogunate army.

When the Vision Hunt Decree was promulgated, Kujou Sara enforced the law while strictly forbidding her troops from looting civilians or mistreating prisoners—until Yae Miko and the Traveler presented her with ironclad proof that Kujou Takayuki had colluded with the Fatui and lied to the Raiden Shogun.

04 · PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE & BONDS · 性格特征、行事准则与人际关系

Kujou Sara’s Personality, Ideals, and Relationships in Teyvat

In her daily life, Kujou Sara is stern, stoic, methodically organized, and famously obsessed with the number five: she wakes at 5:00 AM, walks five laps around the courtyard, and collects exactly five figurines of the 'Statue of Her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder,' which she polishes every morning on a dedicated shrine shelf.

Her most comedic ongoing dynamic in Inazuma is her one-sided rivalry with the Oni leader of the Arataki Gang, Arataki Itto. Ever since Kujou Sara defeated Itto in a street duel and confiscated his Geo Vision under the Vision Hunt Decree, Itto has plastered Inazuma City's bulletin boards with bizarre rematch challenges (including sumo wrestling and street food contests), which Kujou Sara exasperatedly answers with formal military reprimands.

In contrast, Kujou Sara shares a respectful post-war rapport with Sangonomiya Kokomi and Gorou during the Watatsumi-Tenryou peace negotiations, looks up to Guuji Yae Miko despite Miko's teasing, and holds high esteem for her former subordinate Kuki Shinobu, whom she repeatedly invites to rejoin the Tenryou Commission.

05 · COMBAT ABILITIES & ELEMENTAL MASTERY · 战斗能力、技能机制与神之眼权能

Kujou Sara’s Combat Capabilities, Elemental Authority & Kit Breakdown

In both canon lore and gameplay mechanics, Kujou Sara is the premier Electro attack buffer and hypercarry support in Genshin Impact, especially at Constellation 6 where she grants a massive 60 percent Electro Crit DMG Bonus to allies like the Raiden Shogun, Clorinde, or Keqing.

Normal & Charged Attack Choreography

Through Tengu Bowmanship, Kujou Sara fires up to five crisp, authoritative bow shots using traditional Inazuman kyudo form. Her fully charged Aimed Shot channels crackling violet lightning into the arrowhead.

Elemental Skill & Tactical Deployment

Her signature Elemental Skill, Tengu Stormcall, causes Kujou Sara to retreat rapidly with the speed of a Tengu and gain the Crowfeather Cover state for eighteen seconds. Firing a fully charged Aimed Shot—or tapping the ground at Constellation 2—drops a Crowfeather that triggers Tengu Juurai: Ambush after a short delay, dealing AoE Electro damage and granting the active character inside its blast radius an ATK Bonus scaling off Kujou Sara's Base ATK.

Elemental Burst & Supreme Manifestation

When unleashing Subjugation: Koukou Sendou, Kujou Sara unfurls her black Tengu wings and calls down Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker, dealing massive initial AoE Electro damage before splitting into four consecutive waves of Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster lightning bolts, each granting the same Base ATK buff as her Elemental Skill.

Lore Strength, Passives & Signature Synergy

Supported by her passive talents Immovable Will and Decorum, Crowfeather Cover reduces Kujou Sara's Aimed Shot charge time by 60 percent, and every Tengu Juurai: Ambush hit restores 1.2 Elemental Energy to all party members for every 100 percent Energy Recharge Kujou Sara possesses. Her expedition passive reduces Inazuma expedition time by 25 percent.
