1. Executive Overview — Who is Razor in Genshin Impact?

Razor, known throughout the forests and taverns of Mondstadt as the enigmatic 'Wolf Boy' of Wolvendom, is a fierce Electro claymore warrior who bridges the divide between human civilization and the wild wolf pack of Andrius, the Lupus Boreas. Raised from infancy by the wolves of Wolvendom before learning human speech and greatsword combat from Grand Master Varka and Witch of Purple Rose Lisa, Razor fights with raw, feral agility coupled with a crackling Electro Wolf Within spirit.

Long wondering where he truly belonged—as a hairless, fangless human who looked nothing like his four-legged 'Lupical' (wolf family) yet felt alien among city dwellers—Razor eventually uncovered the warm legacy left behind by his biological adventurer parents. On this dedicated page, cosplayers, 3D character artists, and Genshin Impact lore scholars can inspect the official Razor 3D model in real time while exploring his Wolvendom upbringing, his bond with Klee and Bennett, his Claw and Thunder and Lightning Fang combat mechanics, and the Weinlesefest discoveries that revealed his heritage.

02 · SPECIES, LINEAGE & ONTOLOGY · 种族与血脉考据

Razor’s Species, Heritage & Biological Nature

From a biological standpoint, Razor is a fully human child born to two veteran Mondstadt adventurers who tragically perished when he was an infant. Because he was adopted and nursed by the wolf pack of Wolvendom under the watchful eye of the ancient deity spirit Andrius (Dominator of Wolves / Boreas), Razor developed hyper-acute olfactory tracking, canine body language, and the instincts of an apex forest predator. Even in human clothing, he crouches low to the ground, sniffs the wind to detect approaching rain or emotional distress, and refers to his sworn packmates by the ancient wolf term 'Lupical'—a bond of fate stronger than blood.

His constellation, Lupus Minor ('Little Wolf' or 'Young Wolf Cub'), contrasts directly with Andrius's Lupus Major while honoring his status as a true son of Wolvendom. His Electro Vision rests attached to the leather belt strap at his back waist, bestowed upon him during a desperate battle when an Abyss Mage ambushed his wolf pack and Razor unleashed a primal roar of lightning to save his dying Lupical brothers.

03 · HISTORICAL BACKGROUND & ORIGINS · 身世背景与过往历史

The Origins and Historical Journey of Razor

Before he could walk or speak a single word of the human tongue, Razor was found orphaned in the wilderness and taken into the den of Wolvendom's pack by Andrius. Growing up alongside wolf pups, the young boy learned to hunt wild boar, sprint through thorny Wolfhook brambles without flinching, and communicate through growls, ear twitches, and pack howls. Only one thing troubled him whenever he looked into a clear forest stream: unlike his furry siblings, he had no tail, no sharp claws, and walked upright on two legs.

His first meaningful contact with humanity arrived when a towering giant of a man—Grand Master Varka of the Knights of Favonius—ventured deep into Wolvendom. Giving the wild boy the name 'Razor' (the name his biological parents had actually chosen for him before their deaths) and presenting him with a heavy iron claymore, Varka taught Razor how to swing a greatsword, roast meat over a campfire, and speak basic human words before entrusting Razor's further education to Librarian Lisa.

Shortly afterward, during a dark storm when an Abyss Mage cornered Razor and slaughtered several wolves who leaped in front of its spells to shield him, Razor's grief and fury erupted toward the heavens. Answering his desperate desire to protect his Lupical at any cost, an Electro Vision blazed to life at his hip, summoning a phantom lightning wolf that tore the invader apart.

04 · PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE & BONDS · 性格特征、行事准则与人际关系

Razor’s Personality, Ideals, and Relationships in Teyvat

In conversation, Razor speaks in short, earnest, concrete sentences—often omitting articles and complex grammar because human speech still feels clunky on his tongue compared to the silent honesty of the forest. What the Wolf Boy lacks in vocabulary, however, he makes up for in absolute sincerity: he never lies, never betrays a friend, and immediately offers half of his roasted meat or potatoes to anyone he considers part of his pack.

Under the strict yet affectionate tutelage of his 'Master' Lisa inside the Knights of Favonius library, he studies reading, cooking, and elemental control—trembling slightly whenever Lisa's sky darkens with purple lightning during a quiz. He remembers Varka as the tall, booming man who gave him his name and sword, and looks forward to the day they reunite.

Among Mondstadt's younger generation, Razor shares a fiercely loyal friendship with his fellow 'unlucky' adventurer Bennett, often accompanying him into domains where nobody else will go. Toward Klee—whom he warily calls the 'red burny girl' because her Jumpy Dumpties accidentally set Wolvendom's woods on fire and anger Andrius—he acts as a patient, protective friend. During the Weinlesefest, the young warrior also learned that Captain Eula, Lisa, and Varka had safeguarded a wooden box of keepsakes left by his biological parents, giving him peace with both his human roots and his wolf family.

05 · COMBAT ABILITIES & ELEMENTAL MASTERY · 战斗能力、技能机制与神之眼权能

Razor’s Combat Capabilities, Elemental Authority & Kit Breakdown

In both canon lore and gameplay mechanics, Razor is a relentless on-field Physical and Electro-hybrid claymore bruiser who fights in tandem with a lupine lightning avatar. Capable of shredding enemy Defense, boosting his own Attack Speed to blinding levels, and triggering simultaneous Physical, Aggravate, and Hyperbloom/Overloaded reactions (especially in popular 'Thundering Furry' C6 Bennett compositions), Razor hits like a storm of fangs.

Normal & Charged Attack Choreography

Through Steel Fang, Razor executes up to four ferocious, two-handed claymore slams modeled after Grand Master Varka's heavy greatsword style, putting his entire body weight behind every swing.

Elemental Skill & Tactical Deployment

His signature Elemental Skill, Claw and Thunder, channels the predatory reach of his Electro wolf spirit. When tapped, Razor swings a Thunder Wolf Claw forward to deal Electro damage and gain one Electro Sigil (up to three Sigils), with each Sigil increasing his Energy Recharge by 20%. When held, Razor gathers lightning to unleash a wide AoE Electro lightning storm around himself, consuming all accumulated Electro Sigils to immediately convert them into flat Elemental Energy for Razor.

Elemental Burst & Supreme Manifestation

When unleashing his Elemental Burst, Lightning Fang, Razor howls to summon the Wolf Within—an towering purple Electro wolf spirit that stands directly behind him and strikes in perfect synchronization with every Normal Attack Razor performs for 15 seconds. While the Wolf Within is active, Razor's Normal Attack Speed increases by up to 40%, his Electro RES increases by 80%, he becomes completely immune to Electro-Charged damage, and his own Charged Attacks are disabled in favor of pure claw-and-blade flurries.

Lore Strength, Passives & Signature Synergy

Through his passive talents Awakening and Hunger, casting Lightning Fang immediately resets the cooldown of Claw and Thunder and reduces Claw and Thunder's cooldown by 18%, while Razor gains an additional 30% Energy Recharge whenever his Elemental Energy is below 50%. His exploration passive, Wolvensprint, decreases sprinting Stamina consumption for the entire party by 20%.

Event #1: The Meaning of Lupical (Confronting the Riftwolf Pack & Andrius)

Razor Story Quest: Lupus Minor Act I

When a rogue pack of black wolves—later known to players as Rifthounds from outside Mondstadt—attacked Springvale and violated the territorial treaty between humans and Wolvendom, hunters led by Draff and Hopp marched into the woods seeking vengeance against Razor's pack. Fighting alongside the Traveler and Amber to protect his injured wolf family, Razor stood before the raging spirit of Andrius, the Boreas, who calmed down after recognizing the bond between Razor and his human friends.

Event #2: Windblume Festival & Escaping the Thousand Winds Temple Trap

Version 1.4 Flagship Chronicle

Accompanying Bennett on an ill-fated Windblume outing to the Thousand Winds Temple, Razor ended up trapped behind an iron gate alongside Bennett due to Bennett's legendary bad luck. Waiting patiently until the Traveler and Venti rescued them, Razor proved his unwavering loyalty to his human friend.

Event #3: Summertime Odyssey (Traveling to the Golden Apple Archipelago)

Version 1.6 Flagship Chronicle

By brewing a new batch of wine alongside the Traveler, Klee, Lisa, and Mondstadt's citizens, Razor finally understood his parents' love and embraced both his human and wolf identities.

Inspecting the official Razor 3D model in our interactive WebGL viewer reveals a rugged, woodland-survivor aesthetic tailored for sprinting through dense brambles. His outfit centers on a weathered olive-green hooded cloak fastened across his chest with brown leather belts and bronze wolf-fang clasps, worn over a scarred, sleeveless dark-brown vest, stitched trousers, and sturdy calf-high hunting boots. His unruly, ankle-length silver-gray hair bristles beneath his pointed hood, while red facial war-paint markings accent his left cheek and forehead, and his Mondstadt Electro Vision hangs from the belt strap at his lower back.

When drafting a cosplay pattern or sculpting a 3D figure of Razor, 2D key art makes it difficult to see how his wild, layered silver hair passes beneath his hood and tattered cape or how the cross-straps on his back harness connect to his Vision buckle. By using the Sub-Mesh Disassembly controls in the 3D viewer above, cosplayers and digital sculptors can hide Razor's hooded cloak and hair layers to inspect his chest scars, spiked wrist bracers, and boot-strap geometry in clean 4-view orthographic projection.
