1. Executive Overview — Who is Klee in Genshin Impact?

Klee, known across Mondstadt with equal parts adoration and trepidation as the Fleeing Sunlight and the pint-sized Spark Knight of the Knights of Favonius, is a five-star Pyro catalyst user whose mastery of high-yield alchemical explosives can reshape mountains. Entrusted to the care of the Knights of Favonius three years ago when her parents departed on an expedition to the far corners of Teyvat, Klee spends her days either inventing bouncy new bombs, blasting fish out of Starfell Lake, or sitting quietly in Acting Grand Master Jean's solitary confinement room pondering her next gunpowder formula.

Far from an ordinary human child, Klee is the daughter of the legendary omni-dimensional witch Alice—Elder 'A' of the Hexenzirkel—and belongs to a long-lived, pointed-eared race blessed with boundless luck. On this page, cosplayers, 3D animators, and lore researchers can inspect the official Klee 3D model—along with her Blossoming Starlight witch costume—while exploring her heritage under Alice, her adoptive brotherly bond with Albedo, her Jumpy Dumpty and Sparks 'n' Splash combat mechanics, and her summer adventures in the Golden Apple Archipelago and Veluriyam Mirage.

02 · SPECIES, LINEAGE & ONTOLOGY · 种族与血脉考据

Klee’s Species, Heritage & Biological Nature

From an ontological and biological standpoint within Genshin Impact, Klee is not a standard mortal human of Mondstadt, but a member of an ancient, long-lived humanoid species characterized by elongated, pointed elf-like ears and a lifespan measured in centuries or millennia. As Alice explicitly noted in the Golden Apple Archipelago phonograph recording, both she and her daughter belong to a race graced with longevity far surpassing ordinary humans, meaning that even as Klee's mortal playmates grow old, the young girl will remain youthful for ages to come.

In addition to her long-lived biology, Klee is blessed with the four-leaf clover constellation Trifolium, which manifests as supernatural good fortune in the field: she has walked unharmed through collapsing ruins, accidentally detonated an entire workshop without suffering a single scratch (earning her Pyro Vision in the smoking crater), and uncovered the ancient Primo Geovishap cavern while casually burying treasures.

03 · HISTORICAL BACKGROUND & ORIGINS · 身世背景与过往历史

The Origins and Historical Journey of Klee

Born to a famous adventurer father and Alice—the author of the Teyvat Travel Guide and one of the most powerful mages of the Hexenzirkel—Klee grew up treating high explosives and alchemical reagents as nursery toys. Rather than reading ordinary bedtime stories, Alice taught her young daughter how to mix black powder, construct fuses, and place demolition charges on load-bearing rock faces, famously helping reshape the cliffs of Stormbearer Mountains.

When Klee was even younger, Alice sewed a fluffy white pom-pom clover charm named 'Dodoco' and tied it to her daughter's leather backpack so that the little girl would never feel lonely, declaring that Dodoco and Klee would be best friends forever. Shortly after Klee accidentally blew up their backyard workshop and emerged beaming with a brand-new Pyro Vision, Alice and her husband set off for a dangerous, faraway place, leaving their daughter in the trusted hands of Jean, Albedo, and the Knights of Favonius.

Since joining the Knights as the youngest titled knight in Mondstadt's history, the Spark Knight has inadvertently redirected rivers during Stormterror's crisis and terrified Abyss Mages across Whispering Woods.

04 · PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE & BONDS · 性格特征、行事准则与人际关系

Klee’s Personality, Ideals, and Relationships in Teyvat

In everyday life, Klee is pure-hearted, exuberantly curious, and completely devoid of malice. Whenever her fish-blasting escapades land her in solitary confinement, she genuinely apologizes to Acting Grand Master Jean and promises to behave—only to forget her promise the moment she spots a shiny new lizard or pond full of bass. To help her remember the rules, Cavalry Captain Kaeya wrote a rhyming survival guide reminding her that explosions inside the city walls mean grounded privileges.

Within the Knights of Favonius headquarters, Klee views nearly everyone as her extended family. Her closest family member in Mondstadt is Chief Alchemist Albedo, whom Alice asked to treat Klee as a biological younger sister; Klee adores 'Big Brother Albedo' because he patiently listens to her stories and draws pictures with her. She also loves Kaeya, Amber, Lisa, and Eula, while viewing Jean as a loving but scary maternal authority.

Outside the Knights, Klee is best friends with Razor in Wolvendom (though her bombs accidentally scorched his hunting grounds), Diona (with whom she wants to team up to 'destroy the wine industry monster'), and Yoimiya, who bonded with her over fireworks during the Irodori Festival.

05 · COMBAT ABILITIES & ELEMENTAL MASTERY · 战斗能力、技能机制与神之眼权能

Klee’s Combat Capabilities, Elemental Authority & Kit Breakdown

In both canon lore and gameplay mechanics, Klee is a high-output mono-Pyro and Vaporize/Burgeon catalyst artillery specialist whose attacks count as heavy blunt strikes capable of shattering Geo shields, mining ore, and staggering giant Lawachurls.

Normal & Charged Attack Choreography

Through Kaboom!, Klee hurls up to three bouncing alchemical bombs that explode on contact for AoE Pyro damage. Her Charged Attack calls down a focused laser beam from an overhead clover sigil that blasts enemies airborne in a fiery explosion.

Elemental Skill & Tactical Deployment

Her signature Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, tosses a cheerful rabbit-eared bomb that bounces three times across the ground, igniting an AoE Pyro explosion with every bounce. On the third bounce, Jumpy Dumpty splits into eight proximity Mines that detonate upon touching enemies or after a short duration.

Elemental Burst & Supreme Manifestation

When unleashing Sparks 'n' Splash, Klee summons four floating Pyro clover drones that surround her for ten seconds, automatically firing salvos of laser sparks at nearby opponents to deal continuous AoE Pyro damage while she remains on the field.

Lore Strength, Passives & Signature Synergy

Supported by her passive talents Pounding Surprise and Sparkling Burst, landing a Normal Attack or Skill has a 50 percent chance to grant Klee an Explosive Spark that makes her next Charged Attack cost zero Stamina and deal 50 percent bonus damage, while Critical Charged Attacks restore two Elemental Energy to all party members. Her exploration passive reveals Mondstadt local specialties on the mini-map.

Event #1: True Treasure (Trifolium Chapter)

After Klee buried her 'greatest treasure' near Whispering Woods to keep it safe from Jean, an Abyss Order mage stole the bomb thinking it was a powerful artifact—and promptly blew himself up upon lighting its fuse. Event #2: Midsummer Island Adventure (Dodo-King & Golden Apple Archipelago)

Version 1.6 Flagship Chronicle

Receiving a mysterious letter from the 'Dodo-King' threatening to take Dodoco away unless she traveled to the Golden Apple Archipelago, Klee flew to the islands atop Dvalin alongside the Traveler, Jean, Barbara, Diluc, Kaeya, Albedo, and Razor—discovering at the end that the entire archipelago vacation was a loving summer gift orchestrated by her mother Alice.

Event #3: Secret Summer Paradise (Veluriyam Mirage & Blossoming Starlight)

Version 3.8 Flagship Chronicle

Entering the magical bottle-domain of the Veluriyam Mirage in Sumeru alongside Kaeya, Eula, Kokomi, and Collei, Klee received her adorable red-and-black Blossoming Starlight witch costume and helped restore the central hub of the Oceanid Idyia's mirage.
